Editorial policy
Western Fitness Review aims to make fitness subjects understandable without overstating what an article can establish. Our editorial choices prioritise accuracy, clarity and an honest account of uncertainty.
Accuracy and sourcing
Writers should check factual claims against suitable, current sources and make clear when an explanation is general rather than universal. We do not invent research, experience, credentials or quotations. Where evidence is limited or a subject varies between people, we say so rather than presenting a single answer as a rule.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity, not to guarantee favourable coverage of a product, service or partner. A relationship with a commercial partner does not determine an article's conclusions, and we do not promise coverage in exchange for support.
Corrections
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review specific, checkable concerns and correct material errors clearly; when a change affects the meaning of a piece, we explain the correction in the article.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner-supported material is labelled where it appears so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; such images are illustrative, not evidence of a real person, event or result.
Curiosity before certainty
Fitness is easier to understand when claims are examined and details are made visible. We favour clear explanations over prescriptions.
